I hope everyone is doing well as the Summer wraps up. Here are some updates for you! Let me know if you have any questions on anything.
SURVEYS ARE COMING!
After striking out trying to test drive Kickstarter's new survey tool - I really didn't like the experience you guys were going to have with it in its current form - I had to start over from scratch and build the standard Backerkit survey.
Anyway, it's coming to you a little later than I wanted it to, but it's coming today. We'll do a smoke test this morning for some of you and the rest of you should get it this evening. Please let me know if you have any problems with it.
FUN STUFF IN THE BACKERKIT SHOP!
I always like to give you guys a little something extra and awesome at the end of a campaign like this... and I took a full inventory while building out this latest survey and realized that I am straight OUT of most of our really good variants... so, I decided it's time to create a new one - a really BAD ASS one - specifically for this campaign. So...
Here is the PEACEKEEPERS - Issue 1 Brushed Foil Cinematic variant! It's a run of just 30. It's the first uber limited Peacekeepers variant ever... and the first time Issue 1 has been sold by it's lonesome. Each one will be individually signed, numbered, and remarqued by me.
It's a landscape cover, paying homage to a truly wicked scene from FARGO. It might be hard to see here, but the foil finish on this is going to be bonkers good... and that red blood is REALLY going to pop. If you picked up our JUMP #1 Mignola Foil variant, expect that kind of quality.
You can grab one simply by answering 'YES' when prompted at the beginning of your survey... or by manually adding one when you get to the add-ons interface later.

Survey Update and EVEL KNIEVEL!

Hey all,
A quick update for you here. I tried on this campaign to switch from Backerkit surveys/fulfillment to Kickstarter's new survey/fulfillment system and it just hasn't gone well. I keep running into problems. Short and sweet, I think I'm going to have to scrap the new approach and go back to Backerkit.
The issue is, I am leaving for a huge San Diego Comic Con is just a few days, so chances are I will not have the new survey built and out to you until after I return.
Very sorry for the delay here. If you've backed other campaigns, you know the surveys come every time, two weeks after close, like clockwork, so I'm not crazy about the hiccup. The good news is, the book build is steamrolling on as originally planned and so you will still get your goodies on time/as promised. Literally all that's happening here is I am gathering info at a slightly different time.
But as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message me. I'm here for you.

It was announced by the folks at AIPT and Bleeding Cool this week that the team at Half Evil Comics will be bringing an official EVEL KNIEVEL comic book here to kickstarter THIS FALL!
We've turned the world's most amazing daredevil into an ass-kicking NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN-styple adventurer and you DON'T want to miss it!
We will be kicking the whole endeavor off at a rockin' mega panel at this year's San Diego Comic Con with Evel's son/the brand owner Kelly Knievel and Evel Knievel Museum Partner Joe Pennington. Here's all the info if you're going to be down there:
