Hey all,
I just wanted to thank you very sincerely for all the love this past month. There is such an active and enthusiastic fanbase here on Kickstarter... you guys have made this a uniquely great time... I've said it before and I'll say it again here... this is so much more fun than is putting books in comic shops.
I'm going to take a short respite for the weekend, but I'll be back early next week with more news... and I'll start contacting folks then for commission and draw-me-in references. The backerkit surveys will be headed your way in about two weeks. I'll try to have some fun stuff available for you all there.
The first round of payment processing went through last night and we do have some errored transactions, so check your email - you may have missive from me - and make sure your payment info is current with kickstarter.
If you have questions or concerns in the meantime, please don't hesitate to flip me a message. You might also want to follow me on social media for more info/hi jinx:

PRINT REVEAL! 8k Stretch Goal Reached!

A celebration for a curmudgeon that give zero f-cks.
Tommy Lee by R.E. Nelson
It's the stuff of Hollywood legend, but Tommy Lee Jones hated Jim Carrey. Out of the ashes of his disgust comes one of our favorite quotes. Nelson paired it nicely with this stern look from No Country For Old Men. He may be a old curmudgeon, but we still love him.
The print itself is going to be a 4x6 postcard. Perfect to mail to your mom, brother, or rival!
Thank you to everyone that supported us thus far. Sharing the campaign will help us continue to bring you great content.
Stay safe out there!

Hey all,
I hope your weekend was grand. We are sitting at $7,796 as I type this, just a stone's throw away from that 2nd stretch goal. Once we blow past $8,000 everyone is going to get an INCREDIBLE print from BREACH contributing artist R.E. Nelson. It's REALLY good. And I'm REALLY excited about it. So, tell a friend about the amazing comic party we're having here and let's all leave with some more good stuff, huh?
My good friend James Aquilone, the maestro behind all of those wonderful Kolchak: The Night Stalker books here on Kickstarter is back with a incredible extreme horror anthology.
Monstrous Books and Crystal Lake Publishing present DARKEST DEPTHS, with covers by J.K. Woodward and Robert Hack.
The 50-page graphic novel is available in paperback and digital editions and is dedicated to James' late friend and business partner Taylor Grant, who passed away before they could launch this project. Profits will go to Taylor's son Zane.
I'll check back in here for a print reveal once we cross $8,000. See you soon!

Hey Peacekeepers!
More substantial update coming soon, but I want to stop in and thank you very sincerely for making this launch such a success. I believe THE PEACEKEEPERS is one of the very best books we do here a Half Evil Comics. It's very different from what usually sells here on the platform. And so it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see you guys buy in and get it across the finish line..
We're fully funded, but there's more work to do. We've got some great stretch goals to dig into. I'd love to get you guys a fancy print and a wicked card set... and there's plenty more fun planned, so please TELL A FRIEND about the bad ass comics party we're having here.
NOTE: Crossing that $5,000 threshold has already unlocked out FRIST stretch goal/won you guys our BONUS DIGITAL EXTRAVAGANZA - a dozen or so comics from some of the hottest creators in the biz! So, that means that you now get 18+ comics for just one pledge.
Anyway, I've got some business to wrestle with now, but I'll check in later with something a bit bigger/badder.
Thanks so much again for literally making this dream of ours a reality.
I will leave you with the picture of me... holding a giant snake... as one does:
Love you guys!
Rylend
